Online payment and no-shows

Clients pay online when they book, for the percentage you choose — switched on in the Philippines when online payments go live.

Every online booking will be paid online up front, for the percentage you choose, as soon as online payments go live in the Philippines (GCash and card). Until then your booking page shows "Call to book" and you take bookings by phone or at the desk.

Choose the % clients pay when they book

Settings → Online payment. Enter the percentage of the service price a client pays when booking (1–100). The default is 50%. Set 100 for full payment up front; set a different percentage per service under Services if you like. Write your cancellation policy in the box underneath.

What the client will see

After choosing a time and entering their details, the client sees the amount to pay now and pays by GCash or card. The slot is held until the payment confirms; if it doesn't, the slot is released and the client is told.

On the calendar

  • A dashed outline means "awaiting payment".
  • PAID ONLINE on the block means the money is in. The amount is deducted automatically at the till.

When someone does not turn up

Open the booking and press No-show. It is recorded against the client and the payment stays with you according to your policy.

Cancelling

Press Cancel and pick a reason. Cancellations inside your notice period are marked for refund; late cancellations keep the payment with you.

Two habits that cut no-shows further

  1. Keep reminders on (they are, by default).
  2. Add a phone number and email for every desk booking, otherwise there is nothing to remind.
